Well after 1 and a half years at University, my savings have run out crying.gif and so I need a source of income.

I'm experienced in both the technical and programming side of computing, here's an abbreviated CV:

Technical:

- 5 years' experience building, upgrading, repairing PCs (installing Windows, Linux, resolving driver conflicts, etc.)
- Experience with Windows 98, Me, XP and Linux
- A+ certified

Programming:

- C/C++ (1 year), Java (5 years)
- HTML/CSS, JavaScript (5 years)
- PHP/MySQL (4 years)

If you would like to view my complete CV, please PM me ASAP.

Have you had any real-world job experience, or is the experience quoted referring to own-time or university-based experience?

Unfortunately I have no actual job experience, although I have done job shadowing at Mico Systems (www.mico.co.za) while I was preparing to write my A+ exams.

It's a bit of a catch-22 situation, I know; employers want work experience but aren't prepared to employ someone with no work experience... so how does anyone ever get employed? dry.gif

If anyone wants to employ me but is unsure whether I'd be up to the job, I'm quite willing to take an aptitude test or go on some form of probation to prove myself.
