It's been 11 months since Robbie Williams' last single, Misunderstood.
The flamboyant star is back in spectacular style with his new track, Tripping.
The accompanying video is every bit as entertaining as his previous efforts, with Robbie living out a series of bizarre dream scenarios. He is trapped in different situations as the video skips from scene to strange scene. Shot in Los Angeles, it was directed by Johan Renck (who has worked with the likes of Madonna and The Streets), and the entire surreal promo is viewed as if through the eyes of a child.
In one scene, we see the showman stuck in a lift with a 7ft 6in cross-dressing man, while in another we see him driving a baby and glame female twins around in an old-fashioned car.
Later in the video Robbie is seen running through a maze of bushes. But, as the camera pans out it's revealed that not only is he not wearing any trousers, but he's not moving from the spot as he peers fearfully over his shoulder and attempts to run away from someone or something.
