On Thursday night here in Dubai DJ Tiesto performed at a massive concert (about 4 thousand people I think, possibly more) along with DJ Sander Kleinenberg , as well as 4 DJ's from the middle east, participating in the regional finals of the Thirst competition.
The concert was awesome, hard to put into words how much fun my friends and I had, and two weeks from now, Basement Jaxx and Roger Sanchez are supposed to be playing at the same place, another concert to see!

Yeah Tiesto rocks, I'm currently listening to a few great sets from him, especially In Search of Sunrise. I wish I could've seen him live when he was here a couple weeks ago, unfortunately the budget was not willing

He's not bad, but not particular cuppa tea. I have heard some of his mixes that rock, and others that just don't do it for me.
END!

He played here in SA last weekend at Ghallagher. Heard from a few folks that it was an awesome concert, but again, if you like his stuff.
I've got a few of his tracks, and I was quite impressed. Had a LAN though, so no chance of going to concert

Ninja Mo and his LAN's, sigh.
Tiesto really helps the crowd get into the music by dancing around himself. My parents would never believe it, but stage presense and the ability to entertain is a big part of being a successful DJ. One of the guy in the comp played some really great tracks, an all around great set, but he was so stiff, and concentrating on his hands, that there was no feeling, whereas Tiesto and Kleinenberg were jumping around, waving, dancing etc, really did make a difference!

The Teisto consert here was amazing, it was definately the best dance event that I've ever been to! Even Surge played a decent set, Teisto definately deserves the #1 slot!

If you like Tiesto dancing around you should see Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim), there's a great DVD of him playing live on Brighton Beach called 'Big Beach Boutique II.' He jams with the crowd and writes them messages on the big screen Doesn't top Oakey though but still good!
