Have no idea they are about 2inches thick with a massive brick looking thing in the middle of the cable
Think they were the top MIT terminator series
im also using some MIT terminator cabling although mine is nowhere near the top of the range - i have termnator MIT T2 biwired speaker wires that cost around 5 to 7 grand and mit T3 interconnects which cost around R1500 for my Hi-Fi - the brick like thing that you talk about is a zobel network and it adjusts speaker and source impedances to be evenly matched as possible
MIT is great cable and it makes a massive difference to the quality of your sound even if you are not a cable fan - i couldnt afford to use MIT on my home theatre cos the 30 metres x 2 that would be required for the rear speakers will probably bankrupt me especially if i had to also use it to make the setup 7.1 - then yep the cost of cables alone would easilly come to around 60 to 70 grand
Gitano - the guys who can afford to will use the best possible cables that they can - and yes when i go to a krell setup then i will surely stick to MIT since i have already experienced how lifelike and transparent the sound is with those - when you get into this thing as a hobby then you wont mind spending on it in the same way guys spend on benching computers - and i was into sound way before i got to the computers thus sound will always remain my primary interest - though the surround sound doesnt interest me so much as does stereo sound - hence i wont spend as much as W( at )RP( at )T}{ on the surround aspects - but i will indulge in spending a mini fortune in a good stereo Hi-Fi when i have the space for it
but anyways im sure ive said this before but thats a really nice setup there Rob and i hope that you are enjoying it
