The link ain't working.
: (

Also, maybe i'm just being a bit anal here, but won't calling the project "Forgotten Realms" (even if it is non-profit) qualify as Copyright Infringement or something?

I noticed about the link, seems the webserver is down, Ill get in contact with the admin.

The project isnt called forgotten realms, I just called the thread that because the story is set in that world. I think it is a free license or something, but not sure, so Im pretty sure its ok to write about their stuff, and hey, if its really good we can send it to the creator of the world and maybe one day it could be published.

Well, Ed Greenwood himself is at the very core of The Forgotten Realms - He conceived it. Later, it was 'co-founded' (if you will) along with a few other people, though i can't remember who they are.

The thing is, TSR used to own *all* rights to anything remotely Forgotten Realms, until they were acquired by Wizards of The Coast. So i would guess that it's safe to assume that WoTC now hold these rights. Still, i'm guessing that this only really applies to official material and published work (such as novels and games [though for the latter i image rights would be sold to development studios like the former Black Isle and Bioware]), so i honestly think that it's mostly a free universe.

Still, it would be interesting to find out. Maybe i'll look into it when i have a lot of time on my hands
