20% goes to Uthingo, who manage the Lotto game. The rest, after payouts, goes to charities.

The Lotto is such a crock of shit, they keep tons of cash for themselves and give sparingly to charities; not only that, they refuse to give any money to the SPCA (which is currently in the process of closing down several of it's branches due to lack of funding), and yet they pump shitloads of cash into sport and other 'entertainment.' I refuse to give a single fucking cent to these people, it's nothing but a giant money-making scheme

That means 50% to payouts, 30% to good causes and 20% to Uthingo.

Yeah... a bunch of sports were supposed to get a load of money, but the majority of them that are still waiting for it... and surely there are more pressing concerns than the country's sport to consider...

The lotto is only a crock if there's corruption in the ranks... well, you couldn't ask for a more corrupt country than ours... especially considering our vice-president is a fuckin thief...

As per usual, nothing will be done about it. We will just sit here and watch the poor get screwed over while the fucking thieves just whistle a happy tune and get on with life.

In my opinion the numbers might also be cheated since they always show the ballset and machine, but they never show the inbetween. The balls can just as well been made heavier by injecting gell so that the chances of them falling through is better.

Let's all boycot the Lotto and let everyone we know do the same and their friends and family. This way the Lotto will feel it. It is usually the poor who buy most tickets and become even poorer!

The Lotto's only purpose is too take more from the poor and make the rich, richer ( like the government). Of course as the government gets funds, no-one will do a f**k about it.

Regarding distribution of funds, the SPCA gets sh1t all because ( I think) blacks are not familiar with animals and abuse them alot - just look at all the township animals that come into the SPCA. Also SANCOB (Penguins) don't get ANY funding.

This is an outright SCAM.

I only got 3 numbers right...once. So I said screw it and rather went with smoking cigs seeing the chance of winning something (lung cancer,bad breath,yellow teeth,black fingers..) was higher.

The only thing I dont like about lotto is the fact that I didnt bring it to S.A. ...phh there goes the easy life.

I got 4 numbers once... only paid out R250.

i think the lotto could be doing a world of good if they distributed the money properly
