Hi everyone, We're looking for someone to fill the position of a junior research & development job. It entails mostly PHP + mysql development and FreeBSD system knowledge. You would be joining a leading edge team of young developers operating around the world.
Required: PHP knowledge FreeBSD knowledge BSD/Linux application knowledge (e.g. experience with misc. apps) English Fluency Complete flexibility Residence in Johannesburg Quick learning, eager, and very committed. Under 25 (fairly strict)
Preferred: An excellent knowledge of networks and the internet Ability to code in perl and/or c Valuable hardware knowledge Known in the South African computer "scene" History in security (white or black hat)
The salary is to be negotiated, starting from R7000 pm upwards. This is not a 9-5 job, you can work when you want, where you want - but will be required to work through the night if neccessary, or through the weekend. You will learn a LARGE amount about BSD, networks, security and various other topics and its a great opportunity with room to grow quickly.
