Hi everyone,

remember those posters a while back, that they sold at shopping centres and so on. The ones where you had to stare at the picture (normally a seemingly random pattern of colour and shapes) and then eventually you would see something in 3d, like the statue of liberty or a ship or stuff like that. Do you get those on the net? Will it work on a PC screen, or would you have to print them out?

Just do a google on Hidden Image Stereograms, it should also work fine on a pc. this link use to have some.

They'll work on the PC screen, and you can print them out, but you don't have to.

If I'm not mistaken some versions of photoshop will allow you to make your own.

You might also want to look into cross-eye 3d photography. Basically, instead of random dots 'n stuff, you get two pictures that were taken a couple of inches apart, and put them next to each other. If you do the same kind of staring thing(basically crossing your eyes) you see the picture in 3d, as if you were there when it was taken.
