Since I'm upgrading I'm looking to sell my old faithful Powercolor 9500 Pro which I've BIOS flashed to 9700 Pro spec (and enabled all 8 pipelines). The only difference is the memory runs at 128-bit instead of 256-bit. If you may recall, this is one of the original 9500 Pros with memory in an L-shape configuration that everyone was raving about, with the ability to comfortably run at over 9700 Pro clock speeds. I have achieved just over 17000 in 3DM2k1 with this card and, right now, I have it running quite happily at 375 core, 360 mem.
To assist with proper cooling, I have installed a Nothpole northbridge cooler on the core and replaced 6 of the 8 original ramsinks with the ones that came with the Northpole cooler, so basically this card runs nice and cool, even when overclocked.
I have got a lot of pleasure out of this card and it'll be sad to say goodbye, but I'm sure it'll find a good home.
I'm looking for somewhere in the region of R1000 (including the Northpole which is valued at R300 by itself).
