Hey
I'm looking for a guy that has a bit of knowledge on microsoft server/exchange and general problem finding. It's for the Gauteng area. Salary: absolute minimum......uh....I meant to say negotiable. Work experience is not necessary, as long as you know your way around the microsoft world.
This isn't one of the unreliable offerings that was working through the idiot I knew. This one is for working under me....MWAHAHAHA.
Let me know

I did mcse on exchange.
do I qualify ?
but I havent touched an exchange server in 3 years
Of course you'd qualify, but I don't think an entry-level position would pay you what you want.

How about remote support? for a little extra on the side

got a ADSL and work from home already and dont sleep so I might as well do something?
Rush: that would suit me. Granted we're a new company less than a year old, and generally companies only try to break even in the first 2 years, never mind make a profit.
Warp: I think the company would prefer to see a face in there when they paying a couple of thousand for maintenance.

Can I do this?

If they really want to see a face I can send them a picture
Come to think of it. If they don't mind seeing a face between 3pm and 5pm I could always go say "Hi"
I would agree except sometimes you have to go to see the problem. A little thing called Brain Dead Users that can't explain the problem.
I need someone that is willing to send more than a picture to the client occasionally.....maybe the body
I am a good boss though. I encourage drinking and games on the job

I am sure I could do that from time to time.

vnc - that's the one I couldn't remember, so didn't bother putting it in there.
Thanks Rush
I've got no issues with fixing the problems that way. Saves time and money. I just need someone that I can rely on to go to a client when I need him/her to.
Eg:
Picking up a component from a supplier and installing at client.
Having to respond to call out when remote services fail (unplugged network card) - had that this morning
If anyone is seriously interested, let me know.

I'm ur man!
CV to follow tomorrow!
Where is the central company located?
Which area's do you serve?
Minimum salary: R1

Salary will be nothing great (to start with). We're looking at about R4000 per month. That's why experience wasn't a neccessity. Salary will increase as we sign more maintenance contracts. Possibility of shares in the company.
You'd be expected to have own transport and to respond to call-outs in the Gauteng area (mostly Midrand). Would only take about 1-2 hours a day (average) at the moment. Hopefully will change soon. Required to come through to Pretoria office once a week. Knowledge on exchange a MUST.
Any more questions.....
There seems to be a bit of interest in the position. Could you guys please send me your CV's. I have to chat to the other directors and take it from there.
I suppose an email address would be helpful.
Send it to wanted( at )defiance.co.za
If anyone is still interested, send your CV's please.

Well, if things carry on the way we hope, we'll be hiring more next year. I'm getting too busy to cope at the moment (working till 11pm some nights). That's why I need guys to take care of the maintenance side of things while I do the proposals and installations.
