We are tabbing Alter Bridge - In Loving Memory

I started this tab today, and it's already proving to be a huge pain in the ass. From what I can gather it's in some sort of C tuning; the few tabs available have it as C# F# C# F# A# C#, but it sounds wrong to me. I'll fiddle some more tonight and post back tomorrow.

Ok, so I've done my fiddling and it seems that the tuning I posted above is correct. The easiest way to be able to play this song is to drop you low and high E strings, plus your A string, down one step i.e. drop your low E to D, your A to G, and your high E to D. This is basically a variation on double drop-D.

Now, you can play the song, but the tuning on the album is dropped a further semitone (on all strings). Now if you're like me, you'd rather detune 3 strings instead of 6; you won't be able to play along with the song but you can jam by yourself quite easily.

I got the basic idea for the intro off some other tab, which I've made corrections to. It's still not 100% perfect, but it's very close (I'm talking maybe two or 3 notes missing here and there). Hopefully I'll finish the verses and chorus by this evening! Anyways, here's the intro:
