Heres another one.

We are tabbing Green Day - American Idiot
Gitano
This although it sounds easy is pretty difficult, as its very very fast.

The main bit in the beggining is too fast for me to play along, although I think that it goes something like this: (only play strings that are held, ie: dont strum)

----------------------------
----------------------------
---------6-6-6-------6------
--6-6-6--6-6-6--4-4--6-6-4--
--6-6-6--4-4-4--4-4--4-6-4--
--4-4-4---------2-2----4-2--

The chorus I play with a bar chord, as it sounds just wierd the way that many tab contributions have it written, as I think that the chorus should be playing all of the strings in a strum rather than some power kind chords. these chords are G#m, C#m and D#m

-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
-66666666----------88888888----------
-66666666-66666666-88888888-66666666-
-44444444-66666666-66666666-66666666-
----------44444444----------44444444-

It still sounds slightly off to me, esspecially the A#m part.
Anyone got something better?

Hehe, think you need to strengthen that strumming hand of yours w2dmb biggrin.gif

That intro is right, I just cranked up my Ibanez and jammed along punk.gif

The chorus sounds pretty right (C#5, G#5, D#5, G#5), though I think you might be right about playing it with barre chords. Something like this?:

-----------------------
-----------------------
--10---5---12---5------
--11---6---13---6------
--11---6---13---6------
---9---4---11---4------

A fifth is a powerchord. It's called a fifth because it consists of the root note and the fifth of that note (i.e. the fifth note in the root note's scale) e.g.

--6--
--4--

You can also play it with three notes: the root, the fifth, and the octave of the root (a note which is one octave higher than the root) e.g.

-----
--6--
--6--
--4--

Sorry for the offtopic.gif biggrin.gif
