I ordered an AMD64 3200+ for way over R2000 about two weeks ago and bought a 3400+ at the same time. The result is, I never used the 3200+ CPU. I opened the box just to see whether everything is there.
So I'm selling my AMD64 Athlon 3200+ CPU for R1750

Is it the version with 1mb or 512k L2 cache?

the '4AX' at the end of the top line means it has 512k cache and a 2.2ghz core clock

What is the differnce in speed between the 512cache and the 1024cache. Is it a huge difference or only minor?

the clawhammer 1024k cache has a slower 2.0ghz core clock than the 512k cache 2.2ghz newcastle. they are almost even at stock but clock for clock the big cache wins.

Cool and Thanx for that one.
I might even consider keeping the 3200 and do domething crazy like building a Linux64 PC with it.
When does the 1024cacheAMD64 outrun the 512cacheAMD64 with its higher core-speed: Overclocking with non-stock cooling?
