So I just created this sub-forum now, and I gotta tell you its definately the best series I've seen - I watch them all, and I'm not big into TV. Its on GO! at 9 on Thursdays (and repeats 9pm Saturday). Its _really_ worth watching.

I've been watching it since it was first released in the states, and it is very, very well done. Some of the interactions are a bit canned (think Dawson's Creek meats Birds Of Prey - uber cheesy) but most of the time it's believable, very well produceed, and somehow very, very cool - kinda gives you the desire to take a gap year to go work in some little shop on the beach front in California

The Show is basically about this guy Ryan Atwood who is thrown out of his house by him mom after he is arrested for stealing a car with his older brother.

His public defender Sandy Cohen takes him in and lets Ryan stay with him and his family in their pool house in California. Ryan then meets Marissa Cooper and their relationship starts to form. Ryan and Seth, Sandy?s Son, become best friends and Seth shows Ryan all about life in The OC.

Then the rest of the episodes are just basically about life in OC and everyday things that the residents of Newport have to deal with.

I don't get this show. It makes me want to do very bad things.

I'm not an avid fan, although I fear I could become one. I watched quite a few one Sat night a while back and was impressed, although I don't have the time anymore to watch them. My friends are all absolutely hooked, which is unusual for them.

Okay, I watched the omnibus a few weekends ago on Go and am now a fan. I won't miss another episode.

I only know Seth because of that one voting topic hehe

I’m hocked to the show since the first episode I watched.
I just watched the last episode and I was pissed off, everything went crazy in the show, so many things turned around.
Now I have to wait till the second season comes out in November I think to see what happens.
