I know that I have posted alot of things about Porsche but I cannot help it. I am a huge fan, so shoot me.

I stumbled upon; not really stumbled, more like found; a roadtest done by CAR on the Porsche 911 GT3. I'm not going to say much, you can just read the PDF file.

For it's priceclass this car is awesome. I think the Ferrari in the same class is a bit overpriced because it's a Ferrari Personally i prefer a Porsche Carrera, wich is more a road/touring car than a racecar like the GT3. This car is purely for the enthusiast and obviously if you have the money.

Well, Ferrari fan myself but...

As far as Porsche's go I think this must be the most awesome vehicle! Absolute brute racer with great luxury!

One thing that always USED to put me off Porsche, is in the older models (80s, early 90s) their interiors left alot to be desired. But they have come back in full force. ANd have a look at this one. It is an absolute marvel!!! Beautiful!

I don't totally agree with the writers comments on tire wear. The GT3 is built to be a performance racing car. THe idea is to provide maximum safety in those conditions. If you worry bout spending too much money on tires, you should not be in a Porsche, you should be in a Toyota (like me).

True, now remember that this is a racecar for the road, so you don't want to go buy new tires every other month just for the heck of it. Rather replace them with high performance tires and use them longer.
