Ok, the Recipes forum has only been up for a couple of days and there are already drinks posts, and I'm sure these are gonna be popular! So, I think it's easier if we keep all the drinks recipes in one post. Hmm, think I should add a 'drinking games' thread soon too

Here's a classic to start things off:

Pangalactic Gargle Blaster

1 1/2 shots rum (151 Proof, Stroh, whatever)
1/4 shot tequila
1/4 shots gin
2/3 shot Triple Sec
1 shots Blue Curacao
1 dash Bitters
1 dash Grenadine

Chuck it all in a glassover crushed ice!

CF, isn't there an order in which they go in??? and if I remember straight, it was in a tall glass (lots of stuff in)....what am I missing

Blue shiznit:

2x Lotsa sumbuca
10x any other alchahol
1x watermelon
1x fishbowl

Mix and say goodbye inhabitions!

Green Dragon (3 of these babies and you'll be crawling home)

1 x Shot Vodka
1 x Shot Peppermint Liquer

(Vodka in as first shot, Peppermint on top of it in a double shot glass)

Nuf, I can't quite remember the order they go in! I'm pretty sure the rum and tequila go in first, and the curacao last.

I remember back in my drinking days that we used to make something called the flaming (reej)ect. hehe


What you need:
1 X Martini Glass
1 X Straw
1 X Springbokkie shooter
Some Sambucca
a friend,
and a lighter...

Step 1:

Pour some Sambucca into a martini glass, fill the glass about half way...
(Keep the springbokkie closeby)

Step 2:

This is where the tricky part comes in, be carefull not to burn your facial hair, make sure you have a long-ish straw.

Light the sambucca and let it burn for about 5 seconds. Then quickly sip the sambucca with the straw. Just as the sambucca runs out, get your friend to pour the springbokkie into the martini glass, and sip it all up in one go.

This is a great drink, but be warned the hot alchahol hits home very, very quickly..

I enjoy a good cocktail once in a while, and recently i tried something called a pan-galactic gargle-blaster... it was awesome...

if anyone knows the recipe, please post it... i need to know....!!!

I have 3 different versions for the Pangalactic gargle blaster, none of which are like what CrazedFerret posted, so here they are...

Number 1.)
1 shot vodka
1 shot rum
1 shot midori (melon liqueur)
dash of sour mix
dash of lime juice
strain into a glass and fill with sprite

Number 2.)
1 1/2 shot vodka
1/2 shot triple sec
dash of grenadine
about 4 shots pineapple juice
strain into a glass and fill with sprite

And number 3.)
1 1/2 shots vodka
1/2 shot blue curacao
4 shots champagne
stir gently and strain into a chilled glass
Garnish with a bitters soaked sugar cube and cocktail onion

um... sorry... my bad...

3 shots rum
splash of Fruit punch
Half a can of pineapple soda
2 cups ice

Blend.

Mega-Bomb

1 shot crown royal
1 shot peach schnaps

drop in red bull.........chug. :-D

1 shot of hienekin

1 CAN of Red Bull.

Drink a few and it will get you drunk QUICK! lol
