Check out their ads in Speed & Sound,they make THE most disgusting bodykits known to man.......they got pics of a Corsa and an Astra they "modified" and it's just fucking disgusting,i swear i almost went blind....

Well guys, I actually met this guy last weekend, or at least I met his friend. The guy who owns the car is not a dutchie, but may as well be. I did not get the chance to ask what he has done to the car other than bodykit as they had to go and fight. They are into some Mushu fighting or something. Full contact fighting.

Oh well... If I am ever 'priveleged' enough to see them again, then I will ask what has been done.

Oh yeah the front bumber is messed, he obviously doesn't know how to go over speed bumps.

Why buy a POS Golf, Mazda, Opel etc and then spend loads of money to try and turn it into something that it is not ....... a descent car.

Why buy an AMD when you realy wanted Intel qualities, performance etc.

its purely aesthetics - to some people its important, others not - same with computers and cars

some people cant afford a fancy expensive car so spending a small amount of money to make the crap car look better is a small sacrifice

would you be happy to drive a crap looking car? didnt think so?

although what some peope do, it is debateable as to whether it looks better or not as there is a very fine line between stylish and gawdy which these guys have clearly crossed.

So do you go and buy 3 different tins of paint to mix your own shade of Versace's Cool Autumn Mist ? Yes they do make home items ........

Do you buy new sheets at Mr Price and have ago at it with some fabric paint ?

Do you buy black shoes and die them white because it is the "in" thing in Boksburg ?

This is different from putting something together from scratch ........

The idea is the same, don't think of the shoes as the item being modded, read the post and you will see that the shoes are the thermaltake fan with a blue LED that make the case look better and make you run faster with better traction than you had when you were barefoor in Boksburg.

Why put a 2L engine in my golf? Because I want the benefits of both a bigger motor and Fuel Injection. Oh, and a 2L Fuel injected engine is faster than a 1600 carb.

Oh and get this... because it is MY car and MY choice and I don't give a rats ass what you or any one else has to say about it!

Why put in a good head unit and sound system - um, fucking duh! Rhetorical question...

Why mod your computer case? Maybe because you've seen a few things that you could improve on from the boring, run of the mill design?

Did it ever occur to some people that modding is a form of artistic expression? Showing off a bit of your personality and in some cases... skill?

If every one left everything standard - life would be very boring!

Why settle for your pc or car performing a certain way when you can improve it through upgrades or modifications?

Why settle for your pc running a certain way when a simple overclock can make it better?

Hmmm, lets see now... my AMD 2600+ could be left to run @ 1913Mhz or I could over clock and tweak until it's 2100Mhz... Better no? Or I could settle for standard performance - But I don't think so...

I find it sad that some people have to sink to the level of critisizing other peoples hobbies and interests because they are far too narrow minded to understand them.

You might like to have standard boring car, that looks and handles like any other model in it's range - Good for you.

I, like to improve my vehicles performance through upgrades, like a 2L engine and a short shift gearbox and clutch.

You might like your pc case to be boring and plain - just like every other one in it's range - Good for you.

I, like my window, CCFL and LED fans, aswell as my lapped RAM coolers and lapped Volcano 12.

Maybe you should critisize every one who extends their house aswell and tell them to just go buy a bigger one! Or critisize the way they did their extensions.

Sheesh dude, you must lead 1 boring, average, run of the mill lifestyle if you cannot see the benefits of aesthetics upgrades and modifications.

I bet you live in a white house with a black roof and a 2 car garage which is an average size, average value and would never dream of extending or improving it in any way. BORING!

Now, slap in some nice tiles, change out the boring old fashioned window frames for some aluminium ones, line your pool with fibre glass and put in a salt chlorinator and you have something a little more valuable and alot better looking.

Why not upgrade your kitchen while you're at it and through in some granite surfaces and some wooden cupboards?

Sheesh.

Out off all of these the: RurouniKenshin, Honda/merc/bmw/subaru hybrid looks the best in some weird way it works, but FOOKS those other once are I've got some too somewhere, i'll post them as soon as i find them!!!

As for modding my car, i drive almost standard 1400 Nissan Bakkie, Now I added a 32 Webber Carb & i must say it does make a difference on both my performance and fuel economy (in both directions) at normal driving speeds my feul consumption can be as much as 1leter per km better than that standerd piece of SH!T they call a carb, but then said if it floor it the performance goes up but the feul consumtion can be as much as 2leter per km less than the standerd one!

So would you say modding my bakkie & saving feul was a bad change or did i actualy improve on something ordinary?

It has a wierd sort of appeal doesn't it...?
