a French Toast Meal with verve.


2 eggs
4 slices of bread
2 slices of ham
a tomato cut into 2 halves

melt a spoon of butter or margerine in a pan

beat the eggs in a bowl or jug
add a pinch of salt
break up the ham into really small peices

Pour the egg mix into a plate and drench a slice of bread in the egg and place into the pan.

Flip it quickly and put bits of ham on the one side
The reason for flipping it quickly is to still have a bit of unfried egg to which the ham will stick.

Flip the bread again so that each side becomes slightly brown.

Continue with each peice.

Once all the bread is done pour the remainder of the egg mix into the pan and add in the ham. scramble them and put on the slices of bread.

Fry the 2 tomato halves till they are slighlty brown and voila!

Not normal french toast but you'll have 2 servings of protein, a grain and a vegetable.
Carbs arent extremely high but dont eat too much eggs in your diet as you'll end up with high cholestrol

Extremely inexepensive meal.
