Racing for South Africa (R4SA), a company formed by former Arrows Formula 1 test driver Stephen Watson has concluded a deal to bring the Arrows AX3, a 3-seater Formula 1 car, to South Africa.

The event will consist of two days, Saturday & Sunday, with 15 runs per day, allowing 60 very lucky people the opportunity of a lifetime.

Each passenger will be driven around the circuit in a standard production road car, followed by laps in a super car and finally the ride in the Ascari Arrows X3.

Passengers will be a mix of celebrities, journalists, TV presenters, corporate guests, and competition winners. Spectator tickets will be drawn at lunchtime on both days for the last rides of the day. A concert is planned for the Saturday night to complete the entertainment.

The celebrities attending and the choice of venue will be announced in February.

The 2004 event will happen at the end March with final dates to be confirmed.
