Hello my friend recently downloaded a nokia cell phone game from kazaa, when he installed it, apperantly it stopped his phone from charging, when he plugs the charger in it says "Not charging".

It is nokia 3510i, anyone got any ideas what could cause this? is it possible that the file was infected with a virus that would stop it from charging.

Take it to a Nokia retailer, they can flash the phone for you.

how did he get the game to his phone?

did he use a data link cable that wa supplied by nokia?

or did he build his own?

a friend of mine made his own cable using a bogus schematic he found online, totally fucked his phone up...
