Dude be patient.
I've never had any probs from the dudes @ Take2.
Even order cancellations [I had to cancel 2 order last year]

Hell they've even found me some goodies that weren't on their database smile.gif

Just keep in contact with the bank and Take2.
It should all be fine.

Take2 are quite good. Only prob is that they don't keep much stock at their offices, so their delivery times are at the mercy of their suppliers...

They have a good range and pretty low prices.
Tanya
Must say, I've never had any problems with them
Crusader
I haven't had any problems with Take2 either, and I'm happy with their service. Hope your problem gets sorted out soon.

I still think kalahari is the best. Never ordered from take2 so I think I'll stick with kalahari.
StNick
So, you've never tried Take2, but claim that Kalahari is better... Makes sense.

biggrin.gif Bleh, just killing time. *bored*
MrBean
I have ordered a few things from Take2 before, and never had any hassles......so I am sure they would rectify your little problem, Aceius.....

MrBean.

Take2 haven't given me problems regarding orders, but i did mail them a few times without them responding, P'd me off a bit, so just went back to kalahari.

Take2 are however cheaper in most cases.

Just don't give up biggrin.gif Heir

I've now been in almost constant comunication with the Head of the Electronics Division for almost 2 weeks now
(Snag with my one order - Supplier out of stock)

But I try to be polite at all times - But I guess I'm a bit of a Pain in the ass wink.gif
Then again - Don't keep me waiting for 2 weeks...

QUOTE
I ordered a Thermaltake heatsink and some thermal compound from Take2 last month. The site indicates 2-5 days before shipping. I ordered the items on 27 May and saw that the money was deducted the next day. Take2 took 4 weeks before they shipped, without making any effort to notify me that there would be a delay.

I first queried the matter when I saw that it hadn't shipped a week later. They said it might be delivered a week later. I repeated the operation after 2 more weeks had passed and received a similar "expect delivery this Friday" answer.

I then replied that unless this promise was upheld, I wanted the order cancelled and my money returned. Take2 blindly shipped that Friday, ignoring my instruction. Having been stranded for 4 weeks, I chose to accept the item in order to get my PC operational again.

Whilst this might have been a small transaction, I'm left with a poor experience of that company's customer treatment.

I'm still steamed at them. thumbdown.gif

I'm still waiting for my Lite-on combo drive I've ordered from them quite some time ago. The weird thing is that when I order stuff from them, I generally get things on time but with some things it takes AGES for it to be delivered. Bleh.

I can appreciate that certain items aren't always available and shipments from suppliers can be delayed.

My problems with Take2 are:

- the fact that they didn't inform me of the delays until I'd contacted them
- they quite happily took one's money within 24 hours of the order and get to enjoy the interest from this, but only ship the order 4 weeks later. That is horrible.
