It is rather frusterating when Im in the arcade playing a game, lose, and then am told I have to post two more posts to play!!?? Why do you have to post more than two times a day to play games?? Posting and the arcade shouldnt be related at all, they are seperate activities why do you have to do one in order to do the other? |

Vault9 (previously known as netforums, previously known as planetmars), was created as a message board/forum. I.e, the main purpose is for posting of threads and having discussions.
The arcade was introduced as a kind of nice-to-have feature. The purpose of the post limit is to get more activity on the board, in an effort for the community to get to know each other better. The post limit is pretty fair imo. After all, all this stuff is free (except for the folks who own the site, who pay to keep the place running -------------------- "Bigotry and hatred are enemies to us all. The arcade is a cool extra for our loyal members, not a freebie for random people who waste our bandwidth. The post requirement system was introduced to encourage posting activity and keep said freeloaders away.
Enough said. -------------------- |

But, I think Sarah is saying that after she plays a game, she is required to make two more posts, on the same day? Am I correct Sarah?
That isn't what the feature should be doing... -------------------- The trouble isn't that there is too many fools but that the lightning isn't distributed right.

Correct, it's set at two posts per day.
Perhaps we're moving over into a new day over here when it happens? |

I'll look into the issue with the server (or whatever) ticking over, but other than that the settings for post requirements are set at 2.
I rarely play the arcade but when I do I never get the error you guys are describing. Hmmm. |

The server is hosted GMT -7 so that could be the reason. The posts are not accumulated on a local pc 24 hour period, but on a server cycle which, as stated, is GMT -7.

Could it also be that posts made in the Spam It forum don't count towards a post count?

It could very well be that. I can't remember if they do, or do not, but I suspect they don't. Also some threads do not add to your post count.
