Yep the heat is on, with Nato mad at Iran's nuclear power ambitions, heated words being exchanged and the pressure is mounting, Iran has boldly anniounced it will destroy israel if attacked. America has hinted on a bombing raid, France is gearing up and the Russians have warned the world against attacking, Back Off Tensions are rising and the possibility of war is open. Well do you think it is gonna happen! |

Listen to Tool - Vicarious.... I vote "perhaps". But its a no-win situation really. If the US (or Isreal) feels threatened, I think they should try to resolve their fears through diplomacy, which they tried. Now they can either do nothing (and appear weak), or take action (and cause suffering for their own people, as well as the people of other countries. |

Its inevitable, the fact that Israel feels "threatened" (and is a filthy hypocrite as they have fucking nukes) and they pretty much own america's politics anyway, will mean that something will happen sooner or later. The US could quite comfortably roll over Iran (but they could always fire at Turkish bases).
If that happens and if iran has nukes they will use them. Don't even want to think about the Russian military getting involved, then well we have WWIII |

why is the u.s. not gonna bomb israel? the u.n. nuke peeps didnt do an inspection, hell, the u.s. is in the u.n.'s bad books just as much as iran
 it's all bullshit and with recent events, i'd say russia looks like they could possibly come out the victors with the father of all bombs and their nukes

Israel is the most sane of the bunch, I would say. Just dont cross them.
Afaik Iran goes, in their books Israel has already crossed them back in 1950 or whatever. |

I very much doubt the US will do it, even a minor attack will be setting off the gunpowder keg and the entire area will go up. Iran will attack Israel, Syria, Jordan etc. will all join in. The americans need the oil in this region and Iran could easily blow all of the wells to hell and back.

If the US sends carriers to the gulf they(the US) wouldn't be using a nuke. And hey they should be safe since Iran doesn't have one and doesn't want one either ... or so they say

The point is Hunter... that the forecast (for using nukes) would change  And I'm quite sure that Iran could get hold of nukes very quickly if they wanted to. |
