During lunch today we were discussing why anyone would want to live in Alaska? The daylight situation is all screwed up. It could be 4 AM but the sun will still be shinging. Someone did say though that the government pays residents of Alaska around 2,000 dollars a year for living there. The money is supposedly from the oil pipeline over there.

Has anyone lived in Alaska or been to Alaska?

If it was 2000 Dorrahs per month I would move there - but there would have to be a lotta Poker games to play as well.

Well, you get to see Polar Bears and make some good money as an Ice Road Trucker then you can anchor down in Anchorage. Go to work on a snowmobile for half the year. Things could be worse. LOL
