Dear Virgin Mobile

I want someone to contact me asap and sort this out before I decide to go to the ombudsman and the press.

I paid up my virgin mobile account in full on the 28th of July 2008

I then ported over to vodacom.

The 1st of august came and went, I was not charged for anything, so far so good, now on the 1st of september, my account was debitted with R651.53 ??

WHY???

Then I get an SMS notification that you will deduct another R433.03 from my account on the 1st of October ?

Are you people insane or is virginmobile suffering so badly that you try to rob the public ?

I want my money back and i want you to catch a wake up and stop debitting my account - I am no longer your client and will never ever again use your services.

No wonder the company enjoys the name "virgin" - you clearly have no idea what youre doing.

I joined Virgin two years ago and i must say that their service has never improved in fact it's going downhill all the time. Maybe Richard Branson makes money this way by offering third rate services, i do not have one good thing to say about any of the Virgin companies here is SA angry.gif

I wrote to Virgin Mobile yesterday and asked them whether they can deduct the R 200 free airtime off my contract seeing that i am going overseas at the end of March, apparently it's against their policy to do so, typical arseholes. Also i pay my account every month by internet banking and we bank with the same bank and i then fax them proof of payment. How come they never received the payment when it has been deducted off my bank account. I just think that people working at Virgin have no clue what is going on and since they started there has never been an improvement. They really suck and i will never do business with any of their companies again.

Even their airline is up to shit and i was told by the Virgin credit card division that i cannot use my credit card overseas if i'm going to be away longer than 3 months, so i tore it up because my bank says i can use my credit card for as long as i am overseas. Virgin you are a bunch of wankers devil.gif

I have now asked Virgin whether i can pay my contract in full for the four months that i have left and if they would give me the 800 minutes free airtime for those four months to use now, anyone want to bet what their reply will be?? whistling.gif

THE INCIDENT

I asked u whether you would deduct the remaining free minutes of my account as i will be leaving for overseas and not returning for a year, your answer was that is not ur policy, but it was ur policy to offer me free minutes or not it was my choice. I then asked u if i could pay upfront what i owed u and to give me the free minutes in advance and ur answer was still no. In the two years that i have used ur service i haven't really been impressed and nothing has changed ur still the same u really couldn't care, i mean ur data is really shocking most of the time offline, and the fact that you kept on losing my faxes confirming payment into ur account.
All i can say is good luck to you and i really hope that you make it, i would never deal with u again, because ur not interested in the customer, it's all about money, and ur customer care stinks fancy not being able to get through to that service for two months. Don't worry at least i'm an honorable man you will get paid, but if u lose the fax it's ur problem, i won't be sending you two or even three faxes from overseas. No need to respond it's pointless you'll just give me another story

Hello Michael

The sad thing is hat Richard Branson is heavy on the client service as far as the virgin brand goes. Here in SA, there is WAY too much of a nonchalant approach when it comes to delivering proper service (for the most part anyway).

I totally agree with you Surge and for that matter service in this country is non existent no matter what kind of business it is, could it be the result of affirmative action? It never worked in America so it's not working here either sad.gif
