So after a exciting/nerve wrecking 96minutes last nite I can safely gloat Man Utd is finally in the Finals!!! So who will it be in the finals against Man Utd? Liverpool? Facing a 1-1 draw against Chelsea. Away from Home What's the likelihood of Liverpool beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge? -------------------- Jou ma se Balhara, I'm classified as a coloured!

I don't think Liverpool have what it takes to go to Chelsea and win. That being said, I think it depends a lot on how well Fernando plays. If he has a good game, along with Steve, then they could do it. Scoring 2 goals won't be easy though.

I wouldn't write Liverpool off just yet. They have a pretty decent track record in the Champions League. I hope that they will beat Chelsea, even though the odds are not too good for them. Let's face it, a Man Utd vs Liverpool is just gonna make the folk lore that already exists between these two clubs even better.
Heck, even if Chelsea do win it, it'll be a chance for Utd to get some back for the FA Cup final defeat last season. -------------------- "Bigotry and hatred are enemies to us all. United will come out blasting chelsea... they wouldn't know what hit them
I think the main threat from Chelsea is Essien... but with united defending like they are atm I don't think chelsea will pull another 2-1 over united for the finals! |

I was in front of the TV by chance and saw soccer is on. My housemate informed me that its THE FINAL! :-o
I must admit, that football of this calibre is actually watchable. But just as the game went into extra time I got bored and went to bed :-p Pity Man U won :-( |

QUOTE How much did they pay Terry? Any bets that he is STILL in tears right now? QUOTE I must admit, that football of this calibre is actually watchable. Most of the first half was painful to watch. Only after Ronaldo's goal did things pick up, and yeah, as much as I hated it, Lampard's goal set things more in motion. |

I found this final did live up to my expectations... boring as usual...
Man Utd vs Barca match had more life, pressure, cohesion than this match... both teams were playing like they the match was a friendly. United didn't have much aggressiveness after the first half, Chelsea woke up but still had a lot of bad passing and shooting that didn't really threaten United. Was a pity that the game ended with penalties Man I feel sorry for Terry, still dont' have a clue why he was so emotional! maybe he really wanted to pip ferdinand to being Eng Captain etc... |

Damn, and the match was on again at work yesterday. Pity I didn't know about that sooner. Plus I hear now that Tevez also gave someone a DDT in the background. |
