I really hate that the writer's strike happened and that so many programs are now split into shorter seasons twice a year. For example next week is the season finale of The Office. I feel like the new episodes just started. It's so annoying!!! |

They were splitting seasons in half long before the writers strike.

The writer's strike was neccessary but it still screwed with my personal preference to TV shows. I definitely enjoy my shows and wish the set up of TV programming now was a little different. The short multiple seasons of TV shows is quite annoying. I'd rather just watch something straight through for a bunch of months. Like My Name is Earl one of my favorite shows, I'm a huge Jason lee fan, just started....well it feels that way and the season finale is already next week. It's crazy!

It the USA it has been common practice for years to split the seasons. In South Africa though, they have been airing the full seasons all these years - season 4 of "Lost" being a recent exception.

Came down with the flu last night so I’ll be stuck in bed all weekend….which is boring but good at the same time because I’ll be able to catch up on some tv. Gonna watch every movie I’ve been meaning to see and army wives starts up again on Sunday night on lifetime. I think 8 or 9ish..so I’ll still have time to catch one tree hill first. |

What did you think of it, Ive been hearing lots of things, and can't decide whether I want to make the commitment to watch that show or not. Is it worth it?
