The Rock gets paid $10 mill to bring his lousy WWE acting to the big screen again, this time in "Helldorado". More here. The following link has a spoiler for the upcoming T3 movie, and it also has news on Arnold playing King Conan again! More here. There is an audio interview with Bruce Willis on his new file, Tears Of The Sun. I am sick of all these wartime flicks, so I will catch this on tv rather... Oops. the link with the interview is dead, so look up an alternative one yourself... Ian McKellen blabs on about LOTR and X-Men over here. Jet Li fans can read up on his upcoming movie, "Danny the Dog" over here. Jet plays a man with the mind of a child, yet he is physically very strong. It is directed from same guy who directed "The Professional", Luc Basson, so it could be worth a watch. Jennifer Tilly talks about a possible "Bride Of Chucky 2". As if BOC wasn't bad enough to start with. More here. -------------------- "Bigotry and hatred are enemies to us all. Here is an interview with legendary producer, Joel Silver, concerning the Matrix sequels...
Apparently, we get a glimpse of the third movie at the end of the 2nd one... In the states, they are selling a special edition 2 DVD set of The Matrix, and included in this special edition are tickets to the up and coming Matrix sequel... I wonder if they will be doing the same over here... QUOTE The Matrix DVD will include a mail-in movie ticket offer for the sequel, which must be received by June 6, 2003. This offer will be included in the single DVD as well as the two-pack. Additionally, it will include a $5 mail-in rebate for \"The Animatrix\" DVD, releasing June 3 from Warner Home Video. A $3 mail-in rebate for The Matrix DVD will also be included inside the \"Enter the Matrix\" video game. Winner of four Academy Awards®, The Matrix has sold more than 15 million DVDs worldwide since its release. Among its many milestones, the film was the first DVD to break the 1 million unit sales mark and has ranked as one of the top 100 selling DVDs for more than 170 weeks since its initial release date. Rumour has it that the 21st James Bond film will be shot as early as August this year, or even January next year... QUOTE No rest for the wicked - Bond 21 production could start as early as August 2003 according to recent reports, and may have December 2004 targeted for a release date... Go here for more info. Monica Belucci and Sarah Michelle Gellar are 2 rumoured Bond gals... (I hate rumours.) |

Ok, it seems as thought tha Freddy VS Jason flick will happen...
More here. *sigh* One of the most depressing rumours to come about concerning the "Superman" movie is that Justin Timberlake has been sent the script, and he is apparently supposed to play Jimmy Olsen. I can already hear Ziggy saying "Justin Timberlake must die!" Anyways, the offifial word is that nobody has been cast yet. You can read about the "nominess" over here,. And another rumour is that Christopher Walken and Marilyn Manson might star in a remake of Frankenstein... I guess Manson will not be needing any "special" makeup for that role. |

Right, we are not too far away from the filming of the next Star Wars saga.
News about the rebuiling of classic locations can be found over here. Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz might not be in the third Mummy movie. Apprently, this will be because Imhotep will awaken in modern times. I wonder if this is good or bad. Good, since it might be a bit boring to see shit happen in the same era over and over again. Bad, cause Rachel Weisz is so damn cute! ^_^ At least local boy Arnold Vosloo will still feature. Apparently, the budget for Starship Troopers 2 will be kept low... WTF are these Hollywood boneheads thinking? Well, perhaps there is still hope for the movie... QUOTE \"This installment of Starship is being kept low budget for an excellent reason; to provide a comfort level for Sony so that they will hire Phil Tippett as the director. Phil and I have worked together off and on since Dante's \"Piranha\". He sculpted the title character, ran the fish factory, executed many of the effects on location and was an all around great guy. Over the years we've tried to work together as a producer/director team but I've never been able to make that happen until now. The key was the low budget. Sony is getting a huge bargain on the visual effects in exchange for allowing Phil to helm the film. We will also need lots of help from the talented folks in Phil's shop to make it happen and be visually exciting. It really has to be a labor of love to pull it off for next to no money.\" And then, Hayden Christensen, from Star Wars Episode 2 fame, is yet another rumoured Superman... I wish Warner Brothers would just cast somebody already! Heh, apprently somebody has scored a "Freddy VS Jason" callsheet. What is a callsheet? Well, I also found out today only. It basically explains what will happen on a day's shooting. More here. Edit... Read this and decide for yourself how true it is It concernes the LOTR: ROTK trailer... QUOTE I was at a Halloween costume & party convention over the weekend in Chicago, and in one of the booths, selling lotr costumes and accessories, the guy running the booth had a copy of the ROTK trailer. I don't know where he got it -- I didn't ask and he didn't say, but let me tell you ... it was AWESOME!!! ... Narsil was reforged, Eomer wept with Theoden in his arms on the pelennor fields, pippin lunged and pulled faramir off the funeral pyre, sam went after something (shelob assuredly, but they showed nothing of her) with the phial of galadriel, grima drew a dagger and leapt at someone .... those were just the highlights ... i'll attempt to go through it shot for shot as best i can remember .... it opened with armies charging across plains, then cut to gandalf in theoden's hall at edoras telling aragorn, gimli, and legolas that they are running out of time ... oh hell, i don't remember the exact order now, but they do show the halls of the dead (a bunch of skulls lying on the floor in a dungeon looking set), they show aragorn riding at the head of an army with the white tree emblazened on his breast plate, they show eowyn and faramir in the garden in gondor embracing, sam crying out to frodo that \"can't you see? He's betrayed us!\", but the coolest thing of all is SAURON COMES BACK IN PHYSICAL FORM ... unless it was some weird flashback, which I doubt, in the final battle before the black gates, Sauron is back, decked out in the same armor he was wearing in the flashback sequence in FOTR, and he goes after Aragorn -- so it would seem ... Sauron is bashing his way through, they cut to Aragorn fighting off a bunch of orcs, they cut back to a shot of Sauron, and they cut to a shot of Legolas, shouting Aragorn's name, as if to say, \"Hey Aragorn, look out, there's a huge %$^#$^&^ with a mace about to pound your skull in!\" .... all in all, the trailer was about two minutes long and showed a lot -- but my memory isn't what it used to be ... just thought I'd let you all know that there is complete ROTK in circulation ... again, I have no idea where this guy got it, but I'm kicking myself now for not giving him like twenty bucks, and asking him to dub a copy and mail it to me .... if I can sort out anymore of it in my muddled mind, I will let you know ... but for now, call me Mr. Sieve ... On the side note... Should I continue with these movie updates, or should I give these snippets the axe? |

It seems as though that voluptuous Halle Berry might play Catwoman in the full length feature film, which will he shot later on this year.
Ashley jud was also attached to the role, but dropped out due to a play. Personally, I would rather see Halle play that role, since she has such nice cleavage! A sequel to The Bourne Identity will be made. It will be titled The Bourne Supremacy. It will involve the assassination of some high ranking Chinese official in parliament, by super spy/assassin Jason Bourne, and now things must be brought under control before the tension between the USand Chinese governments get outta control. Spy Kids 3D is basically gonna be the first 3D movie of this century (I think). Robert Rodriguez wil still be in the director's seat, and Sly Stallone will play an ev0l villain. Then ther is news on a somewhat highly anticipated cop movie, namely S.W.A.T. It will feature quite an all star cast. More here. A Fantastic Four movie is set to begin filming sometime next year. Here is a first glimpse of the FF movie. Now, apparently, the current script has been thrown into the fires of oblivion, because the movie studio feels that, well, it sucks! Frankly, the Fantastic Four suck monkey nutz! Just looking at there ghey costumes makes me wanna laugh. I really cant see myself taking this movie seriously... Marvel should place this idea in the trashcan, where the whole FF concept actually belongs. Vin Diesel might make a sequel to Pitch Black. More here. Also there is something there about news about the xXx 2 script(s). ^_^ Some news about Exorcist : The Beginning can be found over here. Nicolas Cage might star in another "comic to big screen" movie, namely Ghost Rider. More here. Here is a pathetic makeup test. |

Hehe... np, neo.
Billy Boyd, who plays the Hobbit, Pippen in The Lord Of The rings trilogy talks about seeing the rough cut of the final installment in the third, and final installment in the LOTR trilogy, The Return Of The King. The interview can be found over here. I just found out today that Vin Diesel is 35 years old! Damn, he sure as hell doesn't look that old. He has already signed up for xXx 2 and 3, which is good news, however, the bad news is that we will probably only see xXx 2 in 2005. Diesel is poised to play Hannibal (not the Cannibal) The Conqueror. Read more here and here. There are talks about an Alien 5. Nothing is set in stone yet, but I hope that it will be better than that painful experience (to watch anyway), Alien Resurrection. More here. More Superman casting bullshit can be found over here. In may cases, a movie that experiences so many "downs" and rumours almost never makes it to the big screen. <_< Th-th-th-that's all folks! |

Arnie fans might enjoy the following (alleged?) description of a scene in T3...
QUOTE Nick Stahl and Claire Danes run into a large warehouse filled with usual \"chase debris\" (things that can be blown up later). They try to open a large blast door -- John starts to hack it with his little laptop. The wall at the far end explodes -- the T-X flies a chopper through the wall and crash-lands. She starts walking towards them, when Arnold crashes a BIGGER chopper through the wall and lands on her. She emerges, her skin melted away with just her endo-skeleton showing. That initiates the Arnold/T-X fight. I have to mention my disappointment with Arnold's end line... \"You're terminated!\" Wanna know how LOTR: Return Of The King ends? Go here then... I dunno if it does really reveal the ending, and I don't want to find out until the moment that I see it on the big screen in December this year. ^_^ Latest news on Spiderman 2 is that Tobey Maguire might not return to star in the sequel, which is supposed to begin shooting in April. Some say that it is due to physical problems, while others say that it has to do with money. His agent has denounced these rumours (or so they say he did), and said that Tobey just has mild back problems, which are healing up nicely, so he should be ready for Spiderman 2 by the time they start shooting the next film. After the huge successs of Spiderman, I thought that Kirsten Dunst and Tobey were already signed up to star in the sequel... Rumours... gotta hate them at times. <_< Read an interview with the eccentric Matrix Reloaded twins over here. You can read some news about the script for Starship Troopers 2 over here. Heh, get this. Brad Pitt might play Jamie "The Naked Chef" Oliver in a big screen movie. Is Hollywood really so short on ideas that they need to make a movie about some guy who talks a whole lotta shit while cooking? |

Looks like Warner Brothers is serious about making a Jetson's movie. The script has been re-written now, so it won't be long now. (Wtf?
A set report about the upcoming CGI/live action Garfield movie can be found over here. The Rock is now apparently going to bastardise the big screen even further with another movie. This one is a remake, titled Walking Tall. More here. |

Jackie Chan is set to star in a big screen adaptation of Jules Verne's classic novel, Around The World In 80 Days. Filming is going to start soon apparently...
More here. Ok, a script for Rush Hour 3 is being looked at at the moment, and it is set to start Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker again. Let's face it, those two made a great duo in the previous 2 movies! And then, a first draft for Beverly Hills Cop 4 has been drawn up. Love him, or hate him, there is no denying that Eminem has a blockbuster movie to his name, that Being 8 Mile, which made over $120 million. The DVD went on to make $40 million on its first day on sale. A new trailer for the Animatrix can be found over here. Christopher Walken, Anthony Hopkins and (that wanker) Ralph Fiennes seem poised to star in the Superman movie (rumour alert). None of them are in contention for the part of the man who wears his underwear on the outside though. Hopkins might play Lex Luthor ( |

Adam Sandler is set to star in another film titled Good Cook, Likes Music. In this movie, he plays a loser who lives with his mom in a trailer park, and one day he sends off for a mail order bride. Should be good, and I hope that there will be a lot of that toilet humour in it that I so love. Ok, there will probably be a movie based on the following novel, so I might as well paste the cover here... ![]() More here. Click here to read up on how a "virtual" actor from LOTR: TTT wants some recognition for his... well, acting. Matt Groening, creator of one of my favourite tv shows, The Simpsons, says that there are talks to make a movie based on the legendary tv show. I just hope that it wont be something putrid. Read more here in any case. Ok, it is confirmed now, Tobey Maguire will be in Spider-Man 2, as well as the tasty Kirsten Dunst. ^_^ Hehehe... apparently, Bill Clinton will be starring in the next James Bond movie. On the side note, has a former president ever starred in a movie (not Ronald Reagan of course)? This just seems a bit strange, but it is Hollywood after all. And there might be a Punisher ] movie on the horizon soon. Hopefully it will not be as dismal as that Dolph Lundgren disaster. The following domain names have been registered: BatmanTheFrightening.com and BatmanTheFrightening.net So it seems as though a new Batman film is also on the rise. No word as to who will be in the running to play Batman yet though, but you know where to keep an eye out for that info, right? Now word has it that Billy Zane might play Lex Luthor in the upcoming Superman film... Don't you just love rumours? Even though his wife and child were killed way back in the first Mad Max, in the fourth film, Max has a son, not a baby, but an adult son... |
