I built my computer in 2002, just to let you know how old it is, and the mobo has now failed. I need to replace it and need recommendations please. The old board was an MSI KT333 with a AMD 1800 processor. I know things have changed and I haven't been paying attention to what is out there. The computer is used for making DVDs and general email and a bit of web surfing. I tried to install more RAM (DDR not 2) and all slots went. Mobo failure.

I am not sure of what I need information to post to help me. I do not need fancy, just inexpensive, works with what I have so I do not have to replace too much, and useful for the DVD process.

TIA

Just a note: I am trying to set up a laptop to access the web so I may be slow in responding.
