Me and my girlfriends are planning on getting together soon and having a ladies night. Were going to eat junk food, stay up all night and watch scary movies. Does anyone have any movie suggestions? Not TOO scary though!!

Nightmare On Elm Street
The Hills Have Eyes
Saw

Anything with Orlando Bloom in it (except Lord Of the Rings and Troy of course).

One Night in Paris is a beautifully artsy film that you will just adore.

Get P.S. I Love You too. I watched it with my friends the other night and we sat crying our eyes out. It's so beautiful. crying.gif

Well, I'm a big fan of non-gory thrillers like Zodiac or Son of Sam. They're scary, but without all the gratuitous violence! There is another good one i just saw a commercial for (its a TV movie not in the theatres) thats on this weekend with some guy who used to be on Full house. It looked surprisingly decent but i don't remember the name.

What ever happened to girls getting together and having topless pillow fights?

I'll come over and judge who wins.

One of my favorites is Perfume: The story of a murderer. Not really a murder mystery as such, but I found it absolutely awesome!

I hope the movie you are talking about has John Stamos in it??...hes nice to look at haha. Son of Sam was good but a little too violent for my taste. Speaking of that John Leguizamo does not get enough credit as an actor. He is fantastic.

Except in The Happening he really sucked hey? But I think that the actors aren't supposed to get the blame for that. So people, do not watch the Happening (4/10).

Yeah Stamos has definitely aged nicely. I’ll watch anything hes in just so I can stare at him. The movie you are talking about with him has to be the Two Mr Kissels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Grv9wOgWeew

Already set my tivo to lifetime for it for tomorrow because I’ll be away. Lovely Stamos. and yeah i agree, don't watch the happening..haha..

What about Carrie. that is one scary movie. You could also line up Casablanca for a cry and There's Something About Mary for a good laugh.

Hope you have a good time.

Scary Movies:

Silent Hill
Event Horizon

And I don't want any flack about this one..... If you have not seen the Blair Witch Project, do yourself a favour. Don't mention to anyone that you are going to watch it (cause their opinions will cloud your mind) have a few puffs of teh "wacky tobacky", get nice and comfy, turn off the lights and watch it. WARNING!!! only do this for Blair Witch Project, as the movie needs a little "push" in the right direction, DO NOT!! I REPEAT DO NOT do this with Silent Hill or Event Horizon!!! you have been warned!!

P.S. Saw is not a scary movie, dumb definately, gross sure, scary nu uh.. IMO Saw and Final Destination and any other movies like that are soooo weak. They employ the same script writers the Porn industry employs, in the sence that the story is just an excuse to string together a bunch of senseless death scenes (or sex scenes if you are watching porn) Besides, the baddies in Saw are all just humans, and humans are not scary, at least not compared to MONSTERS and DEMONS, lol
