I have an Hp pavillion dv6000 and it has worked fine with a few small problems but now it's saying "error performing inpage operation" when I try to use this disk. I tried running chkdsk e: r/ and it says
"the type of file system is raw chkdsk is not available for raw drives"
but the disk drive was working perfectly fine like a couple hours ago
is it just an error with the cd itself or the dvd drive? I read something about formatting the drive but why would it just all of the sudden just not be formatted any more?

can you even get into Windows? When you say use this disk... which disk are you referring to? The HDD?
