If you went back in time and met your teenage parents, you could not split them up and prevent your birth - even if you wanted to, a new quantum model has stated. Researchers speculate that time travel can occur within a kind of feedback loop where backwards movement is possible, but only in a way that is "complementary" to the present. Well, that hardly PROVES anything. All it does is looks at the time paradox differently, as if it was the time paradox that prevented time travel in the first place, when in actual fact, it is the lack of adequate technology that is preventing time travel.
Even this new view on the time paradox is just speculation, as where all the other preceding views, because until such a time as it is possible to travel back in time, it will all just remain speculation. This article almost implies that there are a bunch of scientists sitting around saying stuff like:"We aint finishing this time machine, until you figure out that whole time paradox thingy!" |
