On the 6th February this year i sent an application to Pretoria to get a police clearance certificate which i paid for at my local police station and included a stamped addressed envelope, this should normally take 28 working days to be processed and almost 60 days later still no police clearance delivered to my address in Cape Town, now i have to apply for another one and pay R 59 again. All i can say is that everything has gone to hell and i should know because the high court as well as home affairs is a total f/up now the police services too thumbdown.gif

Obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate from South Africa is basically a simple process. The CRC in Pretoria is very effective and reliable. The biggest obstacle like with most government departments are that they are understaffed which creates a problem with follow ups. It is virtually impossible to make any contact other than a personal visit.

It is therefore wise if you need a Personal Police Clearance Certificate from South Africa to make use of a service provider who can log and follow up your applications on a regular basis by visiting the Criminal Record Centre

The documents needed are a full set of fingerprints and identification. These documents are handed in at the CRC in Pretoria South Africa.

You are more than welcome to visit our website for more information.
