QUOTE Gigabyte has recently left the doors open in order to get its upcoming graphics cards into the spotlight. The cards prepped for their 15 minutes of fame are two non-reference models of the GeForce 8800 GT and what is probably the upcoming Radeon HD 3850. The two cards feature a blue-colored PCB and come with a Zalman cooler. The GV-NX88T512HP aka the 8800 card also boasts solid capacitors and a three-phase power regulation for enhanced overclocking capabilities while the GV-RX2950P512 which should really be renamed to something like GV-RX3850... comes with similar features. LINK ![]() does anyone think this will equal the gt or is it yet another dissappointment from ATI/AMD??? -------------------- Jou ma se Balhara, I'm classified as a coloured!

I rate Anandtech and they are usually spot on the money when it comes to conclusions. -------------------- Too Cool

The NDA for the GFX cards was lifted today. Anandtech is only one of the sites that have reviews up.
The 3800 series can't catch the 8800 GT but the 3800 series is a bit cheaper. @ Fishy that site you posted doesn't look trustworthy at all imho. |

All pretty much say the same thing.
Looks like it's also quicker than GTS but slower than GT, if the price is right it could be a decent competitor. 55nm should also make it pretty clockable http://www.legionhardware.com/document.php?id=703&p=2 http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardw...ce-preview.html http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/1222/11/p...demo/index.html http://www.hothardware.com/articles/ATI_Ra...m_RV670/?page=8 http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=482&a...pert&pid=20 |

ye I know at that time it was all I could find...
looks like the 3850 is a winner over the 8600's although the performance on Call of Juarez has mixed results... http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=482&a...pert&pid=14 |
