Howdy all, I've recently taken up fishing as my new hobby  lol  Anyone know of good fishing spots for beginners on the east rand or midrand areas? Also some good/reasonably priced Tackle shops would be helpfull if you know any. |

I see woodmead has a Fish Tackle place by the KFC... dunno about price tho...

LOL fish i try not to eat fish, hate the stuff. catching them is fun though. to be completely honest i would ***GULP*** try to eat a fish that i actually caught.
reeling a big one in is great and when you're with a group of mates the excitement and thrill is awesome. I did find a good spot to go to and to my amazement most of my mates wanna join in. Bronkies seems like the best option for now and then maybe a weekend trip to the Vaal is on the plate. |

Never tasted fresh water fish, if you don't catch anything i can always send you a live snoek from the Cape
