Hi, ppl. Any advice would be appreciated. Know this guy for 10 years now....been on and off relationship...but we keep coming back to each other. Both been in serious relationships with other people in the meantime (married, kids and divorce)... Hurt each other (both been in the wrong!) but make up...eventually...we are closest to each other than to any other person...recently got back together...I think we need to have couple councelling...he's not too sure... Also I'm getting too damn old for all this emotional roller-coastering! Any advice on how we can get over the past hurts and focus on a future... It's a joke because we've both tried to move on and been in other relationships but they don't work because (for both of us) no-one can replace us. We realise we just totally LOVE each other but how can we STOP the madness...We have major break ups then major make ups.... PLEASE HELP!

Agreed paul.......

on a serious note though if you guys really love each other then you'll work things out.... Counsellors only tell you one thing in most cases anyways.... (i.e. Common sense)

You do not have time for thinking...
Marriage or start looking for new romance - in 10 years it will be toooooooo late

well..

do you think it won't be an emotional roller coaster if you were 'together'?

If nothing positive has come of it after ten years, are you asking yourself why...

good relationships should be easy and enjoyable smile.gif
