Hi guys. Im in need of ideas for an afrikaans speech. just the ideas, thanx. i should be able to handle the translations. I like the one Void posted about the origins of afrikaans, but its quite a mission to work up on that as much as it seems easy.. i need to have one for about 2-3 minutes, & be able to use audio-visual aids with it.. help highly appreciated!!

if it were up to me, I would do a speech on things that we are grateful to the afrikaans for
