Hi,

I've been trying to follow the disjointed rules on this forum, in one place it says I have to make at least 10 post before my posts will appear, on another post there was a discussion about minimum 2 posts per day? then there is the intellectual criteria that has to be passed, for your post to count as a valid post.

So why, if I have done 16 posts already, are my posts still being moderated? am I missing something? It is quite hard trying to be part of this community if after 3 days my post still don't appear. There are only that many posts that I can reply to "intellectually" as far as the subject matter is of most of them are concerned. Who decides if my post has been "intellectual" enough? and on what criteria?

and also, why do you moderators come across so rude? is it intentional? are you really a bunch of rude guys? or is it just the way that you write in the forums? To come across as more friendly, try elaborating when answering posts, make use of superlatives, begin a post with "Hi"? as a so called noob, trying to gain bona-fide membership, means that I have to read a lot of posts, and I've come across so many "ban warnings" etc. makes a person wonder "geez, how long am I going to be here before I get banned, and for what reasons will I get banned?"

Maybe if the criteria was not so high, the forum would grow faster with many new users? I mean any fool can make 10 posts, but the effort involved to come to this site, post, wait 3 days to see if you post has yet appeared, see that it hasn't, come back later etc. is enough to make anyone say "aaah screw it, I'll rather go to another forum", don't you think?

Hi could you point out where the mods has been rude to people that don't deserve it?

The only reason why there have been so many ban warnings to "new" users is due to the amount of PORN, Spam, Adverts, Site advertising they keep posting. It's nothing against you (as you can see you haven't received one) but there have been so many cases of these posts it's unbelieveable - hence we have to preview all new user posting on the forum.

I'm glad you are one of the few that has decided to post more useful information and it's much appreciated.

( at )Fishfly - "I'm glad you are one of the few that has decided to post more useful information and it's much appreciated." lol, yeah, I had to re-read my post a couple of times to make sure it doesn't come across as sh1t slinging, as that is not the intention, I'm glad you saw it my way. As for the mods being rude to people who don't deserve it, you see that's the thing, I would not know if people do deserve it or not, neither would anyone else visiting the forum for the first time, but it is the impression one gets. If they deserve it, well fuckem then tongue.gif

( at )Firefly - Hi, good and u? lol, was that one of those un-intellectual posts? careful there, no pushing up your post count with spam-like replies, lol, read that somehwere too.

You should have been a lawyer.

Unfortunately we have to mod the posts at present. Some of the porn posts that we delete are pretty hectic, and we wouldn't want to give the site a bad name, just because some spamming jackass decided to post like 30 threads about the same porn links all over the show (and we do get these multiple threads).

Imho, I think that a maximum of 3 moderated posts should be used for the newcomers (I mean, basically after one post you can usually determine if someone has just come to spam the board).
